Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Jean-François Laprise ("Brickyard", "we", "us"), who runs the Brickyard marketplace at https://brickyard.website. By signing in or using Brickyard you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
1. What Brickyard is
Brickyard is a marketplace where people buy and sell Roblox experiences ("games") and Roblox groups. We help buyers and sellers find each other, check ownership on Roblox, hold payments in escrow, and confirm transfers. We are not a party to the sale itself, and we don't own the games or groups listed.
Brickyard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.
2. Who can use Brickyard
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy or sell. If you are younger, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and supervise any deal.
- You sign in with your Roblox account. You're responsible for everything done through your account.
- You must follow the Roblox Terms of Use and Community Standards. We may suspend accounts that break Roblox's rules or these terms.
3. Selling
- You may only list a game or group that your Roblox account owns (or that is owned by a group you own). We check this with Roblox when you list.
- Everything you write in a listing must be true. Revenue, item sales, and anything else you report yourself must be accurate, and you must be able to back it up if a buyer or we ask.
- You must not list content you don't have the rights to, such as stolen, leaked, or copied games, or anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
- When you accept an offer, you agree to sell at that price and to complete the transfer on Roblox within 7 days after the buyer's payment is confirmed.
- You must transfer exactly what the listing describes, including the transfer type (just the experience, or the whole group) and anything listed under "What's included".
4. Buying
- An offer is a binding promise to buy at that price if the seller accepts it.
- After acceptance, you pay the agreed price plus the buyer fee into escrow using the method we give you.
- For a game transfer, you must own a Roblox group the experience can be moved into. For a group transfer, you become the group's owner.
- Do your own research. Brickyard grades and stats are informational, not a promise about future players or earnings, and not financial advice.
5. Escrow, transfers and payouts
- The buyer pays into escrow. We hold the money; the seller can't access it yet.
- The seller transfers ownership on Roblox. A transfer only counts once Roblox shows the buyer (or the buyer's group) as the owner.
- After the transfer is confirmed, a 48-hour buyer protection period starts. During this time the buyer can report covered problems.
- If there is no open dispute when protection ends, we pay the seller the sale price minus the seller fee.
If the seller does not transfer within the transfer window, the buyer can ask for a full refund of what they paid. If a deal is cancelled before payment, nothing is charged.
6. Fees
Listing is free. When a deal closes we charge a 5% seller fee (taken from the sale price) and a 2.5% buyer fee (added to the price). Current fees are always shown on the Fees page. Payment providers may charge their own fees.
7. Disputes and refunds
If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the deal room before the protection period ends. We'll review the deal chat, the Roblox ownership record and anything both sides send us, and decide whether to release the money to the seller or refund the buyer. Covered problems include: the item was never transferred, the wrong item was transferred, or the listing was materially false. Changes in player counts or earnings after a sale are not covered.
Keep all communication and payment on Brickyard. We can't help with deals or payments made outside the platform.
8. Things you must not do
- Scam, mislead, threaten or harass other users.
- Try to take a deal or payment off Brickyard to avoid fees or escrow.
- Take back ownership of a game or group after selling it.
- Use bots, scrape the site, or try to break, overload or get around our security.
- Create fake offers or listings, or manipulate stats.
9. Suspension and removal
We may remove listings, cancel deals, hold payouts while we investigate, or suspend accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Roblox can change or remove games, groups, or its APIs at any time, and we're not responsible for actions Roblox takes. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a deal is limited to the fees we earned from that deal, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
If you are a consumer in Quebec: some of the limits in this section and in section 9 may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or the Civil Code of Québec that can't be waived.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll show a notice on the site. Using Brickyard after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: support.brickyard@gmail.com.
13. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the judicial district where the operator lives in Quebec, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to the courts where you live.
The parties have required that these terms and all related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont exigé que ces conditions et tous les documents qui s'y rattachent soient rédigés en anglais. A French version is available on request.
